1980 Cutlass Engine Swap. Need advice!

Have you checked to make sure that your car doesn't already have a TH350 ? If so it will work with the Olds V8. I have owned a lot of G body's that originally had a Buick V6 and they all had a TH350 trans as original equipment, ironically it was usually the V8 cars that had the weaker TH200 in my experience.

Not sure.. but I know I trashed it. Was already slipping and I didn't try to service it. Won't mind just swapping out .

My 231 had a Th200c.

Well so much for that idea, I know you said the engine was bad but I don't believe you mentioned that the trans was wiped too.

Yeah, not a whole lot of free time these days. Work keeps me busy all the time with long and varying hours and not many days off.
