Caddie has the BOP block interface pattern. Let us hope his has the A motor or he'll be bummed.

I did a couple of BOP transmission to Chevy installs, years ago. I used an adapter plate between the parts I had. Apart form being careful to bolt everything together correctly, I never had an issue. I ran over 460 lb/ft of torque through the second install with no issues.

The adapter plate below should work.

Even though they are tucked, there is tons of room to spare both front and rear.

I got the front sway bar end links adjusted yesterday. The bolts were too long and the bar ends had 1/4" of slack in them. The car handles better that my SRT8. I would have never thought. The bench seat has to go because when carving up curves I am sliding all over the seat. Second gear is about all that is required in any case. It will pull from 30 to 115mph in second and it does it very quickly. I have the carburetor tuned in very well, and finally got it to idle at 13.0:1, cruise at 2500rpm at 14.5:1, and WOT at 12.7:1. I put a Flexalite 16" Wave style fan on it today. It claims 3000cfm. It seems to move a lot of air but I haven't taken it out yet to see how it works.

I did a quick search on this thread and did not find the answer. What front springs or coil-overs did you use under this combination?
