Went panning for gold and unfortunately found it. Glitter. Some light stuff in the oil, a couple of minor slivers on the drain plug, and more obvious bits poured out of the filter. Mostly non-ferrous. The filter media is currently sitting on some paper towel so I can more closely examine it. She dead. Going to toss some cheap oil and filter on it to keep it mobile for the Summer - I'll finish up the Monte and then blow them both apart. Maybe, I'll start building the 4.8L to celebrate Canada Day?

Don't laugh. I almost put a late model Hemi in the Monte.
