Move Over People Are Racing!

I also have seen that the Dodge computer stuff is a real bugger. You're just looking for a tuning challenge, aren't you?

Haha.

Yeah, I believe Diablosport will hack the PCM and allow you into it. Truth is I won't be super horny to jump right into it (he says having had tuned both his TBSS and wife's Colorado within weeks of ownership) - but, it may not need much at 717hp - might be more fun to optimize the factory components. I still have to buy the car first - so let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

I vote for a low mileage 6.0 with rectangular port heads and add on the pro-charger from the TBSS. You are a hard man to not disappoint. A cathedral port 6.0 with a cam wouldn't disappoint me and would be an easy swap.

Just ask my wife! 😱

Oh there are many, many, many combinations of parts I could do here. Don't forget that the LS1 in the wagon has CNC'd TSP PRC heads which would work really well on a 5.3L with either of the high-lift/duration cams I have available. Or just run the half-*ss ported 706s that are on there with a cam/blower. Keeping in mind that the Holley Mid-Rise on the TBSS is for cathedral ports, boost-ready, and is also ported. I can also take all of the best parts and build up the 4.8L for the Monte, and leave the left-overs for the wagon's 5.3L. It just goes on and on. At the end of the day I can have two decently reworked boosted engines in both the wagon and Monte. Which will make me less disappointed.

Procharger ain't care what size the engine is.

What is the added weight of an iron block and the forced Induction setup going to do to the front ride height? Will you have to swap springs?

About 200lbs. 100 for the block. 30 for the Mid-Rise intake. And about 70 for the Procharger, bracket, FMIC, pipes, etc.

I will swap spindles and chop the 5664s.
