It would be neat to see your intake temp on top of the carb and below the carb. I think it would be scary how much the blow through is cooling it off. It is the blow through advantage.

How are the coolant temps?
I agree 100 percent.
But maybe I'd add a little water/meth injection 💉 🤔
Just because

I am at 180f before and after a pass for coolant Temps.

The blower is a giant aluminum heat sink though lol.

From my understanding, that is not needed if the supercharger is operating as designed (air flow and boost range). He would have to shoot meth in pre-compressor, and I wouldn't consider that for the cost of a Procharger. His description is what I've witnessed with everyone of these setups - the blow through is like using C16 with meth on steroids for intake cooling. It's the reason why he can run so much timing and be extremely safe.

That's great on the cooling system - what radiator and water pump are you using?

I think your SC is more like an incinerator making heat than a heat sink.

Needed and helpful are different things. Always helpful to cool air charge... Even blowers make heat, anything that compresses air makes heat. Meth would work great post blower. I have toyd with the idea of it but not likely till after I'm using fuel injection.

I am using an aftermarket edelbrock pump and a champion radiator. It's their middle one, it was in the car when I bought it.

As far as heat I'm talking about in the lanes. The blower is a giant chunk of aluminum just soaking up heat.

Yeah, blow-through carb/wet manifold applications don't net the same gains as dry/port injection setups on meth injection. And as mentioned pre-compressor injection is where you could gain some with a Procharger with the blow-through.

I never really had an issue with IATs on the TBSS (granted I am not superhero fast like this guy), but the HellKitty has 125*F IATs just cruising around on an 80*F day... despite the intercooler temps being just 6-10*F above ambient. Now there's a car than needs more IAT cooling.

Lol superhero fast.

I can't get the damn thing to hook on high boost

This is going to be neat to see how you overcome this.

You've mentioned that you're looking to do this with suspension, which is the 'right' way to do it imo. And you commented on my poor exhaust valves using the 'cut the timing' method. I think you're going to have to use both, but it would be great to see you get it to launch without cutting timing.

Staying tuned

I was planning on getting a set of nice double adjustables in the front over winter the whole time when doing this build and it just kinda got away from me. I am not discouraged at all. First time at the track the car went 1.34 on suspension best guesses with a set of 15 year old blown 90/10s in the front. There is absolutely zero doubt that this car will get down the track on full tilt boogie without pulling any timing. If I want to run a 1.25-1.28 60' the car is going to need every last bit of power it makes right off the hit, car doesnt make enough power that I can afford throwing some of it away.

As for Friday, first pass of the night, everyone who got down the track was running high 10s or slower. As the night cooled off the guys running the fastest street car challenge started to get down, but they were spraying the track right before that group made their passes. I had to wait thru 40 street cars that werent doing the the starting line any favors. Also, I have no idea how good/bad the track actually was, I dont have enough experience. But they just got redone paving the track a couple weeks ago and they only had one or two street car events before this one, so not sure how far off optimal the surface still is. I have a bunch of friends racing in the Strange Street Car shootout this weekend in Ultra Street/X275 so I am sure I will get some feedback as to how it is. For all I know if I woulda thrown the kitchen sink at it at Atco it woulda took it... it just would have wheelied higher/longer and went sub 1.30.

I already spoke to Warrior and they took a look at my video, the next step is a nice set of double adjustable for the front to slow it way down. I was frustrated, but trying to keep things in perspective. This is the first car I have ever built so experience level started at almost zero lol. Also the first motor I have ever designed and built, but it is doing good so far, so I will take that win lol. BTW motor crossed the stripe at 7,250 rpm @146mph. The tuning is also going well, first pass car gained 28mph in the back half, 2nd pass car gained 29mph in the back half, and then 30mph on the 3rd pass.

As for the exhaust valves comment, it was a joke. I know a guy going to Roadkill Nights next weekend and I think he is pulling like 24* on the hit to try and get down that track.

How much do you believe tying down your front end helps you? Could it be worth .05 to .1 in the 60?

From watching your video a bunch of times, you need a properly prepped track and I think that would hook or be darn close to it presently. After reading you post again and noticing your mention of you ran after a bunch of street tire cars, I'm sure you got the shaft by that.

I know that is one thing I'm looking forward to during Drag Week, the track will be prepped for 6 and 7 second cars every time I make a run. I think it will make a giant difference and I'll guess it would for you as well.

When do you plan to get out again?

And NO street tires allowed.
