Have you used it yet?

I feel kinda silly, that’s an obvious setup that I NEVER thought of. SMH lol
I haven't used it yet. It's from Amazon so it could be dead on arrival, but otherwise it a pretty simple device. With my AEM logging gauge I had the USB cable just dangling and it annoyed me.

Had to set my timing so I did a quick video on setting up crank triggers, generally how they work, and how it relates to Fueltech.

I just seen you vid on YT and missed this post.

Personally, I hate VR sensors because they are so damn finicky. They work, but can be a challenge to get to work consistently AS COMPARED to a Hall sensor. I'm not saying the VR is bad, junk, terrible, etc, but only that a Hall is darn easy to setup and forgiving to variances in gap. And also they are much easier to diagnose when issues occur. It's very easy to back probe the sensor or splice into the signal wire to monitor the signal with a meter.

I can't wait to see this thing fired up and running!

I assumed the same thing. I asked the guy at fuel tech cuz I'm fine with swapping to the holley hall sensor. He said FT has no problem with them. He actually said he prefers them because they go bad less often. I am calling them today with a couple questions and I'm gunna ask again.
But if my MSD box was able to get a timing signal with it with no problems I'd assume the FT can too.
All I have left is to flush out fuel lines and weld another O2 bung.

So close

Got the intercooler piping on permanently last night. Had to cut the TB pipe in half in order to be able to get it in the car. Used some crimping pliers to make a new bead roll on the pipe I cut.

Let her sing 🎶!!!!!!
Soon. All I have to do it flush some E85 thru the fuel lines, and then I want to test each output (fan, FP, each coil, injector) and then fire it up. FT has an output test option so it shouldnt be to bad testing the outputs... assuming that they work lol. I have all my fuses taken out of he relay board so nothing turns on, but from what I can see the ECU is triggering the relays like it supposed to, at least the FP relay when I turn the key on, and the party time relay. Havent seen if the fan one works yet because the fan is controlled by ECT. However after adjusting the scaling for the Rife IAT sensor, that seems to be reading right as well. We will see.

I incorporated that method of bead rolling last fall. It has worked great thus with a modified set of HF pliers - $8 investment (helps satisfy my cheap side 🙂 )
