After rewiring your engine bay, I have a question. How difficult is it to make an engine bay look aesthetically pleasing with EFI?

Just the opposite from someone that has wired 5 different cars. I have a hell of a time making everything look factory like.

Damn is it time consuming! If you had ever seen my car prior to the recent revamp it was terribly ugly. I was much more concerned about functionality than form.

What i was trying to ask or mention is that a clean engine bay looks like it should be easy to do, but………..it’s not.

Definitely not a dig though.

Messing with u. A clean engine bay is basically impossible.

I spent hours on mine since Christmas, and now that is done I’m going to re-do a section. And the inside of my dash looks like hell compared to your board setup.

I’ve never made one of the boards, but I’m going to try one at some point.

High end build shops would disagree.

A clean engine bay is basically impossibly difficult on a budget build w/limits but obtainable with added (unlimited?) resources.

Your stuff is fine.
I mean it's possible. But there is a line between clean and serviceable. You can hide stuff all over and build panels to hide it, but then if you have to get to it or inspect it it becomes a problem.

Serviceable is definitely the most important factor to me. I prefer ugly and serviceable over beautiful and buried out of sight. I'm not driving an hour plus to a track or hauling hours to a track to find out that I have a wiring issue that I can't check in 10-15 minutes. And resolve in the same time. Nothing sucks more than not being to make runs because of some esoteric BS.

My $.02.

When are you going to fire this pig up and let us see another video of live data?

edit : didn't they run at Atco last weekend?

I have to re plumb the fuel system. The fed is going to become the return and the return will become the feed. Have to add a 10m filter too. Have a couple more wires to make. Redo crank triggar wheel and set cam sync. Then re install dash.
