For what it's worth, it is a very nice car and done very well. Who knows what the history is on this car. The 307 could have took a crap, it could have been stolen, the list goes on. But this is a 1983
hurst olds. Only 3001 of them made. I love a restomod as much as another guy. It's a way to make a cool car better. But don't do it to a rare car like that. If the car has been totally redone, paint, wheels, etc, get a basic cutlass and do a clone project. As far as the value of this car goes, it's only worth what the guy who wants it wants to pay for it. It would have been worth more all original. Q dub, if this is what you like, buy it! We buy these cars and have forums like this because these cars are what we like and we build them to meet our standards and preferences. I love these cars and they will always be my favorite. I built my monte as the way I wanted it, not anyone else. I may be rambling on now. So these are all opinions and thanks for asking us but in the end it is ultimately your decision. I think you will make the right choice . It will be a fun car with that big block!
