the brakes are flat out sexy i like it....

Yeesir! Man when I got the pic of em from Skip, I dropped my paint brush at 10pm last night and went over there to see em in person! Man they are ridiculously sexy bro! I took a couple side by side cell phone shots of the C5 Z06 calipers and my LS1 calipers. Pretty damn close.

Skip said the pistons on the LS1's are a tad bit larger than the Vette set. That may aid in greater clamping force.

And now I have a complete setup for the Elco!! Thanks Skip!!! It's "arts and crafts"time

And you know ol Elco likes to get down on the taping off and blasting at work right? Took em to my job (which I havent been to in 14 days-vacay) and "cleaned" em up a lil before paint. Imma shoot em red and then do another side by side shot so yall can see em. They are damn near identical in size/shape to the C5 Zo6 setup with the exception of the fins that go all the way across the top of the caliper(vette set)

Lovin those c5 ZO6 calipers!!!!! Now those accept a 13.something rotor right?
my front setup will be c6 z51 (13.39" rotors)

sense Im close to putting my front suspension back together, waiting on some parts to come in, Im going to start a front brake upgrade thread in a sec...

Big Bro Warren cleaned/sand blasted my spindles for me (spent a ton of time, gave them back to me NEW!) Notched them (which took about 1 minute to do both), these look new, almost a shame to primer them and paint them black, I almost just cleared over them... but too flashy/perfect for me for where they are going!

you can see in this pic, part of the spindle needed a little notch for the bottom PAB bolt head to clear (the left gold allen head bolt in the pictures)...

after notching them, mocked up the bracket and it was good to go... just finished primering them, will paint em black tomorrow...
