Finally, you've seen the light!!
The 307 just isn't worth it when the same money goes so much further with a 350/403/455.

Yea, I get it.

Like I said from the beginning...it was one of those things where I knida wanted to work with what I have....and I didnt mind putting in a little work or money to see a GAIN ....but I'll be damned if I am going to throw money, time and effort just to be back at square one....

Didn't you start out with an 8.1 and the goal of putting that in it?

Yes sir, that is the ultimate goal...but just not this point and time.

I want to build a frame on the ground with the motor and roll it under the completely restored body. That is the long tearm goal that will probably cost a bit haha

I was looking at Lunati's website and saw cam kits for the 8.1. Looked interesting to me.

The 8.1s are really overlooked. If you call Dart and speak with there tech support guys...some of the higher ups in the company have been using these motors for several years with great success. The company even offers several interior components for the motor not listed on the site...

When I can afford to get all my ducks in a row and stuff one of those motors under the hood, I will be a super happy camper lol
