My Borgeson steering components came in Yesterday so I mocked everything up and then cut down the telescoping shaft and assembled and painted it low gloss black.

And later after a leaking Monte SS gearbox swap I decided to skip the used or rebuilt versions and just buy a new Borgeson quick ratio steering gearbox, install went smooth and it works flawlessly.

So I have really just been driving the Regal and realized pretty quick that as nice and comfortable as these new pillowtop seats are they suck for corners so I decided to have Cerullo make a set of their GT buckets for my Regal. (Newer design of what is in my Monte)
I knew I was going to make both seats power using the new units that came on my other seats so I had to disassemble the Cerullo's and make a plate to mount the control unit and then wire it , once that was done I had to make adapters to mount the seat to the tracks.
For now I put the cupholder/armrest I modified for my other seats in the middle until I get the center console modified to fit and install the floor shifter and floor mount steering column.
I also have new matching rear seat upholstery ordered so I will R & R the rear upholstery when that shows up.

Those look nice, I have been trying to think of a replacement to mine since I hate how much I slide in them when driving

So this evening was my first time driving the Regal since installing the new seats and even though they are firm they are even more comfortable than my pillowtops, but before I went out for a drive I wanted to get some mock ups done on the center console and shifter so I can paint the console.

I should've found one of those consoles! I like the cupholders, but I've never seen one in a junkyard worth saving.

The one in my Monte is very nice, I bought this one off Ebay a couple years ago for $60 but it took a bit of work to get it where it is now.
It actually had a home made wooden glove box cover on it when I got it.
The cup holders are really handy and not having to modify the console for the shifter is a bonus.
