What is the supercharged 3800 going in?
Well spotted, i actually picked that engine and 4t65E transmission up for my 2004 monte carlo Intimidator. The transmission took a dump so i was able to scoop this up. The engine i have no plans as the engine in my monte carlo is already modified and like new. Ill probably throw some new bearings and seals in it and sell it.

He's referring to my car when I had dreams of artificial atmospheres passing across the throttle blade (supercharged 3800 Series 2). Although a pork butt on the smoker sounds good, too.

Okay so time for an update, over the weekend my son and I had some time to get out to the garage and get some work done on the cutlass. I had the control arms ready with the bushing shells pressed in so I went ahead and greased up the new poly bushings and let my son install them. That grease is the devil, you get it on anything and it's sticky for life, not sure what it is that comes with the bushings

So after all the bushings were in it was time for install, finally!! It's been so long since this car had a working suspension under it.

After my son cleaned the original springs up we got those put into place and moved the jack stands under the rear axle so for the first time in years the back end is sitting on it's own. Only a few smashed fingers were involved. This coming weekend we are moving on to the front so it won't be long and it will he engine install time

It doesn't matter how much time and money you spend. Having your boy there with you is worth it all. Make the build last until he is 16, then give it to him.

At this rate his boy will have grand kids. :)

Just kidding. It's great to make milestones!!! And father-son time combined with car time is totally awesome!!!
