Ah yeah that was the setup i originally had on the car all the front suspension was UMI performance stuff with blazer spindles and backing plates. Really good stuff if you are looking for upgrading your suspension i highly recommend them.
 
Well yesterday i picked the sway bars up from the powder coating shop. They look good, especially for being an old 442 front bar and a blazer rear bar. Fingers crossed to get the tires mounted today its hard to say with all the virus stuff going on.

Huge moment for the car, got the new wheels and tires mounted and balanced yesterday. Have them up on the car temporarily and i think they absolutely make the look. This thing is going to confuse some people and i love it.

Also almost forgot a big thanks to Injectedcutty (scott) and Donovan for help with the wheel size and backspacing choice. I think the fit was as good as could have been asked for.
 
Okay so progress and haven't had time to post. So after getting the wheels the front hubs didn't look right being shiny in the middle of them so I corrected that issue. A little black paint and not only will they hopefully not rust now but I think it looks much better with the wheel center

Once all the wheels were on and I was happy with the look it was finally time for and engine test fit and sacrificial removal of trans from my iroc camaro so I could use it in this car. The engine fitment looks good, the driver manifold is touching the frame so that will need some tweaks but happy with the first look

So current things im pondering about at the moment, i have the turbo drain fairly figured out since i will be using the fuel pump from a 6.2 diesel that goes in the same spot that a normal small block Chevy would it takes way the spot that the stock turbo oil drain is routed to. The big issue i have is the driver manifold, it goes so wide that it hits the frame. Any suggestions? I thought about cutting the downward section, rotating it, then having it welded back together however im not sure what that would do for the strength of the manifold itself. I would imagine if i cut it at a slight angle then when i rotated the piece i cut it would change the direction it was pointed enough to clear the frame. Currently its also aiming directly at the brake proportioning valve.
