yea, it's already got an alarm but I'm running an electric fuel pump with a separate switch to turn it on and off, will work as a lil' extra anti-theft when they cant start it haha

Nice car! clean, good find for 900, sucks that it kind of turned out to be a lemon right away but you turned your lemon into lemonade  keep up the good work and keep us posted!

Defiantly invest some time into anti theft, its rough when you put a a lot of money, time, blood, sweat, and tears into a car and some prick steals it...

Nice! Sounds like my deal. I bought my monte for $700 and had the same problem with the engine, it knocked and smoked like a train but I drove t like that for almost a year until a powerbrake got the best of it 🙁 Good luck man!

Nice score on the Cutlass! Its great to see an other young guy like myself ( just turned 21) building a ride with some style instead of some riced up honda with a 4" exhaust tip lol. Keep up the good work!

nice man!, cant wait to see what it looks after u do what u want to it, gunna look sweet, im also a teen with a cutlass, and i love the thing!

Doing good so far on your project so far. I have a 84 cutty that im working on now. Just bought the posi unit. Im the the youngest (21) in my city actually buildin my car top bottom so i know how hard it is. This forum is the best thing i did as far gettin knowlegde on my car because mechanics will take advantage of you and do useless thing to your car to get paid but on here you just g body lovers with experience. So keep it up.

Looks clean and a nice starter car for $900.
I had an 85 Supreme when I was in High School and did all I could afford to keep it on the road since I loved the way the car looked and handled. I wound up daily driving one till this day and went through many of them 😀

That's how it got started for me too. My first was a '79 Malibu when I was 16 and it's been an addiction ever since (20 years later).
