Check my rendering below. I'm transitioning to the Hurst Olds Stripe kit.Why are you getting rid of the gold stripe? That’s what made the 442 unique. I am assuming you’re talking about the wheels right?

I'm transitioning to the Hurst Olds Stripe kit.
I watched several of the videos yesterday & saw where the original ears were cut off but wanted confirmation about not needing to drill for larger hardware for the UMI set-up like some other kits/brackets require. Both ways technically are still "a bolt on" install. The kit (except for cutting the spindle ears off) is completely bolt on.
It comes with hardware to use the existing threaded holes, both spindle and caliper.. My kit was the C5 kit ( I wanted to have a 17 inch wheel option in the future if I chose ).
Below is the video I made going over everything in the kit and my prep to put it on.

Now you'll have to use a different bathroom.... 😆Did I just come out by saying I'm transitioning to a different color scheme?
Adding to this....The kit (except for cutting the spindle ears off) is completely bolt on.

Well, if you don't have to drill & tap the spindles it's hard to mess them up so I'd agree you can't go wrong. But, if you do have to drill out the splash shield holes for tapping, you could also mess up a spindle. It looks like that is the newer kit since the website added "Now fits the Wilwood Caliper". Either way, follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.
