Hell yeah. You know what's up. Lol. I've learned a lot watching Jody. I'm still not a great welder but at least I know what I'm supposed to be doing and I just need to practice to get better.

I worked at Newport news shipbuilding as a structural welder for 3 years. I can hold my own. But tig welding is a whole new animal that im in the process if taming still lol. But the key to any welding is knowing what to look for when watching the puddle and how to compensate for what's going on lol. Practice makes perfect.

One of the main reasons I like Jody's videos is the good quality arc shots. I can watch him weld for hours on end.

I've heard that before too. I think if I owned a good TIG machine I'd practice till I got good at it. Having control over both the amps and the filler independently sounds like a more instinctual way to weld to me.

looking good, im doing the swap myself, pulling the 383 and going e85 turbo, in the process of getting the hearter and things ready for the winter cuse i will be spending alot of time ut in the cutty room, keep us all posted

Thanks buddy. I'm ordering a few odds and ends for it today and going to start the crossover tomorrow probably.

Guys, today was a good day. I finally ordered my turbo. Decided to go with the VSR78/75 Billet. Being as they had them in stock, I figured I would go ahead and spend the money while I had it lol. Should be here next week then I'll see about placement and exhaust routing to it. Also my girlfriend is now furious because she believes it will make what I told her it's capable of on the first go round lol. Without bigger injectors, fuel pump and map sensor, it will not hit those kind of numbers. I will see about springing and spending more for a better waste gate and bov than what vs racing carries. At least then I can sleep at night knowing it didn't get too much boost due to faulty boost control. But anyway, super stoked. Stay posted.
