Well i started doing the wiring on my relay panel for the glove box tonight. Should look pretty sweet when its finished. I did not get a chance to take any pics, I'll take some tomorrow if I get time to work on it any. So far im going to have a separate relay for the engine cooling fan, the trans cooler fan, an ignition hot block and ill have an empty relay for a later project 😉 The goal in making it a little bigger than I need right now so I will have room to expand later on with minimal effort. Pics tomorrow or Saturday!

Okay, I finished my relay panel tonight. I think it looks pretty awesome lol. Tested it, all circuits work as they should. I tried to make everything as clean as I had the patience for lol. Let me know what you guys think..

I have circuits for the engine cooling fan, the trans cooler fan, a ignition hot circuit...for gauges/etc, and a open relay for later expansion. Going to paint the actual panel part tomorrow then it will be completely finished and wired into the rest of the car.

I think it looks damn good. It's neat and organized, the wires are cut to length, tied together and cleanly routed. Good job man.

Very clean!

Wow! Killer job for sure buddy! I completely understand the time and patience it takes to wire everything all nice 'n tidy so it doesn't look like a hackjob, or a total cluster&%$@!!!!

I've got many hours tied up in redoing the wiring on my cutlass from when i was younger and just spliced stuff in. Went back and eliminated the splices and soldered everything while neatly organizing it. I have a plate welded in behind the ac delete plate with studs welded on for all the electronics, fans, etc. It cleaned up the engine bay and tucked everything out of sight.

I won't photobomb you're thread with a couple pics unless you say otherwise.

Well done!
Scott

Thanks man i appreciate it lol. And Not all of my wiring is pretty, just routing and securing issues still on some of it. But its in a place that its not too big of a deal under the dash and everything is different colors so its easy to diagnose if needed. I need to fix it but meh, its in there til i upgrade to a ms3 harness down the road lol. It will last that long i hope.
And by all means photobomb it lol. Im always welcome to see how other people have done things. It shows me what works and helps me get more ideas.

I also ordered another pretty big thing today...Got hptuners pro suite coming. Ill be able to do all my tuning (after the learning curve of course) and not have to correlate schedules with my buddy that was doing it before now. He stays pretty busy so its just easier and better for me to do this in the long run.

The 1st pic is when i was about halfway finished....i can't find the before but man was the wiring ugly! 2nd pic is kinda hard to see since the dash was back in for mockup...but you can see some of it tucked behind the glove box. 3rd pic is obviously an engine bay pic...shows the wiring for the efi and nothing extra. I used the woven loom as it looks more professional in my opinion versus the cheap plastic stuff. There are a couple grounds added, but the battery cable is tucked in the frame and shoots out right at the starter. Headlight and fan wiring is tucked in between the fenders.

It took tons of time, but well worth it for sure. The beauty is if i ever decide to go LS power i can wire it in fairly quick.

That all looks great man! It is really difficult to do wiring and make it easy to access while also making it look good at the same time lol. And you're right about adding the stuff in for efi. Once you have good locations for everything to pull from, it makes it go smoother. I got some of the braided wire loom in the other day for mine. I love the look of this stuff way more than that split loom stuff. Ive used it before and now that i have this it makes me want to take the split loom out of me engine harness lol. Btw, I love the dash panel with the gauges and everything. Got any pics of it finished and together??
