Here's a couple more pictures.

Alright guys, little bit of an update for ya. I got the harness buttoned up and in the process of making all the connections in the car while replacing some of what the previous owner did to some of the underhood wiring. Gonna make a bracket to mount the battery in the front. I may end up just putting my fender wells back in. Any opinions guys? I wanna make the wiring look as clean as I can and no go broke doing it lol. I know some brands of wire loom can get right high in prices. Tomorrow I am gonna focus on getting the wires hooked up and test the switches and everything. Then I will get the kinks out of the wiring and make it look nice. Also have to wire up my ignition but instead of using the factory column keyed ignition, I am using a ignition switch panel with lights from Joe's Racing Products. Wish me luck

Alright folks, been doing a lot of work to the G lately. Don't need very much to get it running and driving with the new motor and trans. I know some of it looks like hell but I have everything that you don't see on the engine in the pictures lol. Parts all over the place in my shop. Got the harness installed into the car all but the wire to the starter solenoid. Once I run that to the starter, I'll be mounting the pcm permanently and replace the AC delete panel. I have my fuse block mounted behind the ignition panel where the radio used to be. I finished up the obdII port and new check engine light today and started putting some of my dash back together. I'm at the point now that I need to do more work than spend money for parts which is good. Just a lot of dressing up to do with the wires under the hood and dash. Fuel pump is wired up, all the lines need to be checked prior to startup to double check so nothing leaks. All I need to buy is fluid, a shifter, u-joint, and a couple analog oil psi and temp gauges so I know whats going on. May spring for a tach while I'm at it. Here's a couple pictures to hold yall over haha.

Got a few updates for yall. Been doing a bunch of odds and ends stuff thats hard to pick out. Got my ac panel and cowl back on, drivers side fender on, gotta paint the passenger side then its going in as well. Have my electric fan ready to mount just need to finish installing the wires for the relay to power it up. Decided not to use the pcm to allow the fan to turn on automatically, yes that would be much simpler and less for me to think about but I don't know about you guys but I LOVE flipping switches lol. Going to do something different for my plug wires, probably the msd custom length set and route the wires so that they do not go thru the headers. It just is not going to happen with factory plug wires, I mean it could but I would spend an excessive amount of money on thermal protection for them and I don't want to have to worry about burning thru them. Still need a belt, lower radiator hose, o2 sensors and weld in bungs, some wire loom just to make it look a little bit neater. Need to shorten and arrange my battery cables and cable going to starter better, its just kind of there at the moment lol. Hopefully will be getting a used shifter from a buddy of mine this weekend just to get me rolling with my current limited budget but hoping that will turn up too. Wish me luck guys and If you see something I've done or something you think I should do, feel free to PM me. I'm always open to talk about cars and learn from everyone elses experiences!!
Got my hood back on today for the first time since I removed the original engine from the car, was worried about it hitting the intake and alternator being as i used the truck accessory bracket lol. But it just barely fit. Had to roll the car outside to do some work for a buddy this weekend and needed the concrete floor.

i searched for a bit for mine. i wanted a chevelle/nova/tri five but theyre way out of my budget for what i wanted lol. I always liked the g-body and trying to find one that hasnt been messed with or molested is really hard to find lol. I found mine that a guy bought form an old lady and it only has 21k miles on it. so theyre out there just hard to find one that isnt chopped or in rough shape

So I see you mentioned the Denmah kit, meaning i'm guessing you read up on Sloppy Mechanics. I just started poking around his wiki, and watching the first set of videos. Where exactly did you see a parts list of what you need? I need to spend some more time on there, but just poking around I didn't see something all inclusive. I'm also an idiot, so I probably missed it!

You are using the factory PCM, meaning you didn't go with MegaSquirt. Will you need to switch to MegaSquirt once you slap the turbo on? Or can you make the factory PCM work with that?

I'd love to build just a seriously low buck LS turbo engine. I'm not even looking for anything more than 400 hp. I just want to try!
