I hope you have it done in time for summer so that you can enjoy it.

That would be nice but I really highly doubt it will be anywhere close for that. There's still a lot left to do after it's painted.

I'd love to have driveable for a road course outing in the fall. I was talking with a lady at work that turns out to be a race car driving instructor. She races with a BMW club and they have a couple outings each year at Mid-Ohio. She said I was more than welcome to show up and race as they typically have guys with Corvette's, Viper's, etc. She said it would really be different to have a car like mine on the track.

I told her that's about the only way I'd manage to make it on to a road course is through another car club. Not too many Oldsmobile clubs out there that want to road race.

Road racing is very cool. I was reading about your watts link again very cool, do you now anyone else running one and are they happy with it? Is the watts link similar to the GNX set up?

Just ordered my new Accel Thruster EFI system today. 😀 Deciding to go with one of these for more aftermarket support as well as sequential fuel control. I bought an Accel dual-sync billet distributor as well which is what allows the sequential fuel control.
Already received my base tune from Mark Remmel who I bought the system off of. Hoping I'll have time to tinker with it at the end of the month when I take my vacation.

I have 10 days of vacation that I'm hoping to use towards tieing up a bunch of loose ends on the car, mechanically speaking.

Need to figure out where my coolant leak is coming from and fix it.
Need to finish plumbing my A/C lines to the evaporater on the inside of the car as well as wiring up the HVAC system.
Need to wire up the new EFI system and remove the Megasquirt system that's in there now
Need to install and wire up the Rostra cruise control setup
Need to install and wire up the Electric-life power windows, switches as well as my keyless entry system and door poppers.
Need to check over my braking system and find out why I have a few leaks.

I'm really hoping that by the end of my vacation I'll have a car that is almost road worthy other than needing paint and glass. (Fingers crossed)

I take it Greg got the new roof-skin welded on?

Haha, yeah. He did that a couple of days after I dropped the car off last fall. He got tired of tripping over the donor roof laying on the floor.

The new mess of wires and equipment that I get to find a home for under the hood. 😀
