Andrew I've been following your build since you started it on oldspwer.com and I must say this is a hell of build sir.
Keep it coming!

Paint is moving along again. Sprayed the guide coat on the car and have been doing the final block sanding on the car with 400 grit. Still need to align body panels before block sanding fenders/doors but color will be coming soon I hope. 🙂

That's looking real good,. aligning body panels that never fit very well from factory is no fun... 🙁

I'm a little excited for this, to be honest. I can't wait to see this thing come together.

Looking good! Gonna be a sick ride when done. I'm afraid to even start my bodywork...

That hood looks amazing. Wow. Very nice.

Thanks. I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out so far as well. The scoop blends into the lines of the stock hood pretty well and we kept the same small body line on the scoop and transferred it to the front section of the hood so that it doesn't look just stuck on.

Any updates Andy? Hoping we get ours done at the same time... 😉

Pulled the doors, fenders and header panel today so that we can start getting all of the jambs prepped and ready for paint.

Going to paint the inner fenders, trunk, door jambs, under side of trunk and hood along with the backside of the doors then bolt everything back on, align the panels and then spray the rest of the car.

It's unlikely I'll have the car on the road this year though. After it's painted I still have to buy a new windshield and back glass and have those installed as well as install all of the door glass, hook up the power door locks, window motors, A/C lines , etc. etc. Not to mention it will likely take me a year just to clean all of the body filler and primer dust from the engine bay. 🙁 I really hope to get it down to Oldsranch's place to put it on the lift and clean everything under the car as well.
