A good multi step wet sanding & buffing is key to any show paint job. If you smiled before it , you'll really smile after. Sounds like your color sanding is getting done a little at a time, which actually makes for best results on a fresh paint job which isn't 100% cured.

I'm currently experimenting with dupli-color black ceramic engine paint as a temporary touch up paint on my lower body where I made some steel extensions. It's really surprising what even black spray can paint can look like with a little work blending right in to high end base /clear..

is there any way u could post some closer pics of the bumper.. i would like to see how and what you have cut..thanx

i meant to ask you about your front bumper..just curious on why does it look like that? is it for the aftermarket front bumper wrap?

Yeah. I cut out the majority of the front bumper for clearance. I also wanted my turn signals to be flush with the fiberglass front piece so I cut the original mounting tabs from the bumper and will fiberglass them to the front fascia.

Do you have close ups of the mount you made for the overflow. I made a similar mount for mine, but yours is a lot nicer looking.

Just put the plastic wheel wells back in the car tonight to get it ready to fire up so I can move it. Was able to test out the ECU mount and relay mounts that I made and snapped a few pics for you. You'll have to excuse the messy engine. It's amazing where body filler and primer dust will go. That's going to be my winter project, cleaning the engine bay. 🙁

Wish there was a way to make the wiring cleaner but I'm using a universal harness and really don't want to cut it and resolder everything so I'll just have to live with it.

I'll try taking some tomorrow after work. I had to cut more areas out to clear the turn signals the other day.

Most of the buffing is finished. There's a few areas that still need some touchup but I might have to get a small 3" buffer to get to those. There's only so many places a 7" buffer will go.

All of the small parts are painted so I took the opportunity to finally get pics of the rear spoiler with the rear taillights.

DAMN!, looking SEEXXYYY! and it's still in progress! Now I need to get mine painted
