like Fe3x said there really is not any "adjustment" on the front end of the fenders, mainly the rear section / hinge area is where you get the most adjustment. I like the fender braces, but just curious wouldn't the johnny joints defeat the purpose to making it stiffer? looks good with a fresh shot of paint, the cowl came out great as well in addition to the MC / regal style duckbill at the end.

He said he took them fender braces OFF years ago "johnny joints" ? You mean heim joints ? no it WILL NOT defeat the purpose.them ends are made like that to swivel for the bolt to line up,screw them in or out ,they get tight, guys use them on alternator and power steering belt tensioner's

I'm considering doing something else for the rear spoiler, just haven't figured out what yet. If I keep the MC spoiler I'm going to have to use 3M double sided tape to help hold it on. I only have two nuts holding down now and it's already cracked the paint on the spoiler underneath. 🙁

WOW man you worked your *ss off on the car i didn't realize it till i just got done looking at all your pages Great job, that roof skin replacement looks scary as hell,i wouldn't want to try it it turned out nice

when you figured out what "spoiler" you may use, it might be a good idea to get some clear vinyl that you can put under the spoiler to protect the paint a little bit

The paint on the deck lid is fine. What's cracking is the actual fiberglass spoiler. Tightening it down is stressing it too much apparently.

Where's the updates, Andrew?!

Nothing much to update. It's been too cold to do much on it. 🙁

I actually pulled the dash out and the AC evaporator and it's been sitting on the kitchen table for most of the winter. I need to plumb the AC and coolant lines from the evap to the bulkhead fitting which has turned out to be pretty tricky.

I also need to redye the dash in a few spots since we got a little primer over spray on it. Need warmer weather for that.

As soon as the dash goes back I plan on working on the headliner. I'd like to get that installed prior to calling Safe-lite to have new front and rear glass installed. Haven't decided if I want to tackle the headliner myself or just pay to have a shop do it. I need a new headliner board and would like it covered in black suede with the sun visors and A-pillars to match. Might be easier just to have a shop do it.

Ah I see what your saying. might have been a better choice to make the majority of the spoiler out of urethane or add a beefy support bar to the spoiler? That's what I am contending with for my 3rd gen accord guys, the support bar needs to be thicker.
