I have a trans go shift kit I installed a couple years ago, now shifting very very slow, thinking time for a rebuild. Any recommendations for a good rebuild kit to hold roughly 375 - 400 hp with 6,000 - 6,500 RPM redline? Also need a good stall convertor.

By slow do you mean "mushy" and slides into the gear? or very late but distinct shift points

Basically if I drive it easy it shifts but very slow and mushy like an old grandma car, trying to play around at all (running at the drag strip for example) is totally out of the question as I have to let off the gas totally for a second to get it to shift. When the shift kit was first installed it shifted nice and firm, would often chirp second gear, almost always send you sideways a bit in the rain haha! Third and fourth were nice and firm as well. Now all shifts are just very mushy and slow, sometimes taking several seconds to shift if really getting on it.

Now, once it's in gear I can go WOT no problem and there is no slipping at all, doesn't matter what gear there is no slipping. The throttle valve cable isn't perfect, but I am fairly certain that it isn't out of adjustment to cause this, but I could be wrong.
