A KZ code 2004R is worth a little more money than the run of the mill transmission to someone restoring a 442. In reality, none of the Vin 9 2004R’s have good shift points for a performance application. You can get a much better transmission from the aftermarket with custom shift points and hard parts.There is a 200-4R in my storage building from an Olds 442 that supposedly has the good servo, like the Grand National’s. Pretty sure it has the universal bolt pattern. Been giving serious consideration to selling it.
Also have a 4 Bolt 350 that was going to be mated to the trans. Interested in selling it too. Could sell together.
