I've got two 200-4r's from unknown origin, both still with the tags on the side. Both tags show them to be a "HE" model. Does anybody know what car these came out of? I've looked everywhere & can't seem to find it. I've gathered this list so far:

KZF Olds 442/Hurst
CZF 85-88 Monte SS
CRF 85-88 LG4 305 powered Monte Carlos/Pont Gr Prix
BRF 86-87 GN/T-Type/Turbo Regals
BQ 84-85 GN/T-Type/Turbo Regals
BR 83 Model T-Types
TAF 89 Turbo Trans Am
OZ Hurst Olds
OM Olds 350 Diesels
OG lds 307
BY V-6 252 Cars
AA and AP Cadillac's

The numbers off the tags are:
195-2T83HE1205
049-1T83HE0993

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just trying to figure out if these are any good to start with. Thanks!

They are both 1983 transmissions (see the "83" that preceeds the HE in the long tag numbers). The HE code was used through 86 but I can't find specific application info. What bolt pattern do they have on the bellhousing - Chevy, BOP or composite? If you can find the partial vin that is stamped on the trans you might be able to determine the application from that. There weren't all that many applications using the 200R4 in 1983, so it shouldn't be too hard to narrow it down with a little more info.
