Thats a great deal!!!

300's a good deal if it works. I wouldn't trust a transmission without a fluid and filter change at a minimum. More than likely I would drop it off at a shop and have them give it a once over. Remember, it was in a GN, chances are it got beat on. Another bigger consideration you need to be worrying about is how your going to get it in your Elky? Do you have a TH 350 in it now? The 200r is much longer and your going to have to cut your drive shaft. Your cross member will have to be relocated also. The 350 mounts at 20"5/8th and the 200r mounts at 26"3/4. That's over a 6" difference. If you already have a 200r, one has to ask why your bought another one?

ohh. Good condition doesn't mean great condition. And debub is right, you'll need to either weld an extension/bracket onto your existing crossmember or buy an aftermarket one for 150$. Plus 100$ to shorten your driveshaft. This doesn't include rebuild price when you get the trans. bolted up and it shift's like a tractor burried in the mud... But you could do well, good luck and hope it shifts nicely

200-4R is the same length as the 350. The 700R4 needs the driveshaft shortened.

There's two sizes of 350's and even if the bellhousing-bracket lengths are the same, the yoke could be moved forward or back a little. I highly doubt it's a direct and perfect fit. Not saying it can't be forced to fit. Also he never specified what transmission he had, could be a th200

Chances are the driveshaft fits 100%. Pick up a crossmember from a car with a 200R4 and you may need to drill your frame ( probably doesn't have the holes for the new crossmember . No cutting or welding required when I pulled the 350trans out and put the 200R4 in a couple weeks ago. My frame even had the holes for the 200R crossmember

thx 4 all tha info...............i have a 350 in it right now, i am planning to take the 200r4 to a shop and get it checked out and im intrested in a shift kit so far i know ima need a new crossmember can someone give me a web address so i can order it online am i gonna need anything else???.........i wuz planning to take it to the automotive repair class that i signed up 4 and try and do it myself but it sounds complicated not as easy as i thought it wuz gonna be  the driveshaft shaft info. scared me off and now im worried about how its gonna shift

I have an extra g body trans crossmember for a 2004r. let me know if you still need one.
