Hello all. My 85 Monte SS doesn’t have an ECU anymore. It was converted to conventional carb and distributed by the previous owner. The issue I’m having is the trans doesn’t want to upshift. It’ll go from 1st-2nd with a hard shift and that’s it. Won’t go to any higher gear. I drove the car last fall and it shifted normally. Ive checked the fluid level and it’s at the full mark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
