2015 BUICK GN THOUGHTS

they should be calling it something else but it is nice that GM is planning to build it in a US plant and it's a rear wheel drive platform

I love G-body Regals but think the front grille styling is horrible and they managed to carry that on unfortunately...
I have thought many times about using a Cutlass header on a Regal using/modifying regal fenders in order to keep the wheel well lines.
I am not sure what style grille I would use though... probably 87-88.

Can anyone provide an actual FACT about the return of the Grand National or GNX? Or is this just more fanboy love for a car that will never be built?

2015topcars, caranddriver, gmauthority, topgear, along with countless other sites all say the national n gnx will be released... as for a true release date, i have found conflicting dates... but they all said for late 2014... suppose to be making models for 2015, 2016, 2017, and POSSIBLY 2018...

I have some timeshares in Florida that I would like to sell you too. Unfortunately, I will believe it when I see it, and when I do see it I may just trade my 30 year old version in on one. 😉

Until then it is just a bunch of speculation and BS.

Might be subject to an ignition cylinder recall anyway... 😀

after a little more digging, i found they have already began production of the line of GN n GNX, and will "undoubtedly be ready to ship in the upcoming months"... i sure as hell hope this crap with GM and getting audited doesnt go n f*k anything up... i cant see ever trading a g for this new GN or GNX, they just look like every other car on the road, looks kinda like the new KIA... i wish they re-realeased the 30yr old version but fixed the suspension, steering, etc issues, now thats a car i'd buy

since neither have appeared at any auto show and none have been seen on any testing track then this is just an old story rehashed imo....If GM have already started production but have not revealed any info on it that must be a new method of marketing a product...

i havent seen it on a test track, but then again i didnt look for it... and they have released "info" on it... engine specs, hp, torque, options, pricing, etc... i sure hope they release them, otherwise quite a few car sites/mags wasted time and money reporting on them... not a big fan of caranddriver but they USUALLY get their info right... and this is one instance where i really am hoping they got it right... i'd love to see it hit streets soon...

I was mistaken, the GN was in the Detroit auto show and it's supposed to be under $30k so that means it's at least $50 in Canada You'd think Buick would want us to know all about the new GN instead of keeping it a secret
