I think I read somewhere, they will offer the ZR1 without the Fast & Furious rear wing. As cool as the ZR1 is, the Z06 is ridiculously fast enough for me. I know...Call me an old man. 🙄

It's not that I dislike spoilers. It's just that I don't think the design of the spoiler compliments the design of the car.

must be a new design crew, it sure looks stupid

here is a 2009 ZR1, the last nicely designed Corvette IMO

The '09 is probably faster in the standing half mile, even with 100 less HP and the 94' ZR1 probably has a higher top speed (with over 300 Less HP), but you can't argue with 1.2+G on the skid pad. Wings designed in wind tunnels aren't always pretty, In 1969, MOST people thought '69 Dodge Daytonas were ugly and stupid, too.

One part I really like is the star wheels. How big of a flare would I have to build on my Elco LOL

I saw in a news report it will go 210 mph. Typical bait and switch. No way the car pictured will go 210 mph without another 200-300 hp.

The "210 mph" version won't have a wing or dive planes in front. New 650 HP viper ACR's were slower in the standing mile than my pig 2+2 if they left the wing on. Just leaving the small wickerbill in place on a Z06 Stingray slows them down 5 mph in the standing mile.

Car magazines will have fun trying to duplicate 210 mph in a ZR1. I'll bet a dollar none go over 190 mph with the wing still on, without a monster tailwind.

Ill be willing to bet the spoiler isnt that much about performance, The corvette handles plenty for what probably is like 99% of buyers would actually put it through. I dont like it myself, I prefer subtle spoilers not huge things like that, But I will give them ab A+ for trying something outside the box.
