I think every 700r4 is computer controlled. All you have to do is add a torque converter lock kit.

It will most likely have a lock up converter. You can get a lock up switch or buy a non lock up converter. Also 300hp from a cam in a 305, no way. Your gonna need heads, intake, carb, headers. The reason people say build a 350 is because if you did the same to a 350 as they did to a 305 you would have much more power. If you are going to do a full rebuild anyway then I would buy a core 350 for a 100 or 200 bucks and rebuild that, everything else will cost the same. Goodluck

They will all work without a computer. You just need a lock up switch.

Well i can get my hands on another 350 transmission. How long will my drive shaft need to be for this to work? I recently had my drive shaft cut for a 700r. I have another drive shaft out of a 81 chevy caprice i wonder if this one will work

93 could be a 4l60e. Not sure. If it is then you would need a whole computer. Does it have TV cable?

the guy i bought it from said its a 700r4 it has a tv cable and the 4 pin plug socket. i noticed the speed housing has an eletric plug on it.
