Will a 350 Buick fit clean in a 85 cutlass? The reason I ask is I know they are wider and have an external oil pump.

I believe so. Check www.v8buick.com look under the section v8buick powered regals, its a section dedicated to swaping in Buick 455s and Buick 350s.
