no problemo
sweet! i actually wanted to see the 383 sit under your hood all shiney and ish, im way sure either way that engine bay will still shine with that 350. you can always make it your next project tho.

Good Looking 87chevyboy!!! mad props...

What do you need a crank for? Can't they turn the one you have? Also if you do buy a crank make sure it will work, I think by your casting number you have a one piece seal crank.

Just to have on the side.,.u never know there might be something wrong with my crank and cam know...i wont know untill i get it to the shop....but that wont be for a cpl more weeks....maybe after xmas....just to have as a spare...

Gotcha. Well like I said make sure you can even use it. You should have a one piece seal crank. They make two styles for a small block chevy. They wont interchange in your block.

^^What he said^^. That's why a factory 400 crank won't work in your block. On the cam, I'd just go with a hydraulic flat tappet. Your block is not cast/machined for a factory roller cam. The roller cam retrofit kits are really expensive. Not really worth the extra expense on a mild street motor with the heads you have IMHO.
