There is a thread on this for F-body to G-body sway bar swap........the ones I ordered where the 9.5168R greasable by Energy Suspensions.........which is listed by some as 35mm and by others as 34mm......and has been used and recommended by some here.....but I have since then found out they have a 36.5mm 9.5175 which would be slightly loose which to me would make a lot suspension noise especially if not greasable.......I went with 35mm for the snug fit and on all the G-body sites this is what most have choose to use or at least at the time I got my parts.....

Thank you for the links and information. It's much appreciated. I do recall a thread on this site about it.
I think I would also like it to be a nice snug fit. Thanks again for the part #'s.

One more thing I forgot to say was you need to keep factory mounts on the car......I think the link to montecarloss site explains that...........

the f body mounts holes are spaced too wide so you're right you need to use the factory mounts. If you want to put the greese fittings in just drill a hole for the fitting and screw it in

Sounds like the way for me to go with the sway bar bushings.

I just ordered the MOOG K6459 1-7/16" bushings and MOOG K8988 end links from RockAuto. I looked in my garage to see if I still had my original brackets, but to no avail. I think I tossed them years ago when I replaced the stock bar for my 32mm GN bar.
I have the Energy Suspension brackets, but I have a sick feeling that they're not going to work.
I guess I'll find out for sure when the parts get here...if not, I'll either put the word out there that I need them, or hit the junkyard and see what I can find.
I guess you never throw anything out... :?

I forgot to mention that along wioth using the G body stock bracket I had to use washers under the heads of the bolt though cause the extra load from the sway bar pulled the bracket off the bolt. It happened when I was taking a corner kinda quick and the front end dove so quick on the corner of the car at first I thought the tire went down

Steve,
I've used washers under the bolts all along. I also had to weld in a threaded insert due to a stripped out thread. I had an expandable insert in there, but it failed.
On the passenger side, I've been using nuts to back it up. I'd like to tack weld them in there so I don't have to hold the nuts with a box wrench. However, there's no easy way to do that, and I don't feel like cutting a large window on the side of the frame.

here's how I plan to move one hole in the frame to use the F body bracket. I'll drill a 3/8" hole in the frame for the 5/16 bolt I plan to use as a stud. I drop the bolt through the frame and weld the void between the bolt and the frame. For the other hole I will retap the stock nut to 5/16 and put a stud with loctite

Yeah, there should be at least one G-body in the junkyard. Would it have to be one that was equipped with an F41 sway bar?
I was also wondering if the B-body brackets were the same...hmmmm!
