STOP THE PRESSES!!
HOW DID YOU NOT TELL THEM?

Supposedly well made castings, the decks are very thick, forget how much. They are basically a copy of the first gen Edelbrock heads, no heart shape Combustion chamber but supposedly allow more porting than regular Edelbrock castings, there have been 330 cfm all out ported sets done.

I'm still balancing the benefits of Edelbrock combustion chamber vs cost benefits of a bare procomp set.

I know the procomps need a full valve job and quality valves and springs, but I think Edelbrocks are going to be better with the same work so I'm split.

Noice

I take my statement back. These new Edelbrocks are still twice the price of procomps but the improvements look to be worth it. Nice modern looking combustion chamber, improved ports, solid.

Yeah, I'd get those.

Yes. As many as you don't know, Mark Remmel, him alone working with Edelbrock brought changes to these heads. He made the announcement that he has been working with Edelbrock and was under a NDA till now. Hoping to buy his dyno 68cc dyno mule aluminum heads. What I didn't know is they weren't milled Procomp heads, they are the new Edelbrock SBO head and there is a new BBO head as well! Revised ports and chambers. The SB version is setup for a 4" bore with the 2.07/1.68 valves. The BB for a 4.155" bore, same 77cc and 2.15/1.68 valves. Here is Mark's comparison pic and my iron #6 heads should flow 210ish these flow 260 on the intake. The current published Edelbrock numbers are about 5% high, the new SB will actually hit those numbers and I imagine the BBO heads a few more. My whole income tax return is going towards these heads!

Oh and the heads have been notched from Edelbrock, you CAN run a mechanical fuel pump now!

The heads will make or break any N/A build. This will be money well spent.
