Man am I glad I live in a state that doesn't make you put those ugly window sticker crap on. :puke: It's bad enough having to deal with the ugly license plate designs some of these yahoo's come up with.

How'd you slip it past the inspectors?

I was asking around, and ended up taking it to a little 1 man owned place, i told him what i did motor wise and that i have no emissions equipment whatsoever. I had only put just over 1k on it since last inspection, so i said i'm going to be keeping it under 5k per year, which makes it emissions exempt in pa. If worse comes to worst the speedo cable might just fall off or something  I also have a little crack in my windshield, no problem... but what really suprised me was that he passed it with the tinted marker light covers on. I completely forgot to take them off

yeah it sucks, mine are starting to peel at the corners already because apparently they forgot to make the adhesive hold in the past few years. I hate it because i have to look at my peeling stickers everytime i drive the thing :wtf:

1. That thing needs bigger rear tires... What size are they now?

2. For the love of God, get some bigger jack stands underneath that thing before you go crawling under it again!

Stands like that are ok for a little puddle jumper, but I wouldn't trust them much farther than that...

Ramps + stands = accident waiting to happen.

Yeah, we've all done it, including me, but my stands are 3 ton and have probably 4x the foot print...

Another trick I do if I'm doing more than an oil change on ramps: Stack some bricks underneath them, just incase...

Re: Build Thread, What I've done so far

What was wrong with the old trans?

And yeah, Id be kinda scared to go under there. Id be worried about the thing rolling backwards more than anything.
