Re: 3xbrowncutty's Build: New Look!!

thanks guys!!

Just ordered my torque converter and grabbed a set of polished wire looms made by R&M Specialties. I'm spending wayy too much money on the car this year. never thought i'd say that

I love what you did with valve covers and air cleaner. What paint did you use

Re: 3xbrowncutty's Build: New Look!!

thanks! I used VHT Wrinkle plus. its rated for 200* $9 per can.

thats what i'm after!! 8)

Should be picking up the trans tomorrow, hopefully the driveshaft will be done monday.

Of course its cold as sh*t now so ill have to wait to throw them back in... :x

been following this build for a while, love what your doing with it, keep up the good work man

picked up the driveshaft Saturday morning, and the trans will be done monday. He had to order the speedometer gear, but it wasn't in stock. Its too damn cold to put it all together anyways... hopefully the weather this week is nice

The car is outside because i dont like putting it on stands in the garage. The floor isnt level at all which doesnt make me feel that safe laying under it wrestling with the trans.

got the trans fluid topped off today finally and went for the first real cruise of the spring. damn it felt good.

I'd say the trans is perfect for what i'm using the car for. nice crisp shifts (chirps second), but not knocking you back too hard, still very streetable. Have a Hughes 2000 stall converter i love it, breaks the tires at 2100 8)

Also there is no noticable difference from putting in the drivers side solid motor mount from the stock piece. its acting as a limiter strap of sorts.

Damn the ricers were out everywhere tonight. At one point i was beside a kid ive seen around, has a gay *ss sentra with a small turbo, could tell he wanted to go but i figured i should put some miles on the trans before i whoop on it.
