pffft...
we hauled two complete ford 302s, a th350 trans, a couple iron cylinder heads, and a engine hoist from Toronto to Ottawa... in our 96 Lumina APV (keeping in mind the APV was designed off the Lumina sedan car, same suspension and all).
... never seen the rear sit thought low :? lol

jeez... everywhere I go, I'm stuck with a jeep guy telling me how awesome his Jeep is  ... My last job, and now my new job too. Get stuck with a Jeep enthusiast.

the guys on this forum were more helpful than any of those elite jeep owners on the jeep forum

 What can we say, we love ours AMCs, er uh I mean Jeeps, haha, see even I don't understand  . What's really funny, is getting "stuck" with a jeep enthusiast, after it happens, it's never because of driver error  it's always the jeeps fault. lol

I'm more a Jeep enthusiast than these 19yr old no0bs driving around in their post 1990s Mopar models...
Growing up in Pakistan in the late 80s, my dad ran two late 1970s Jeeps up in the Afgan and Chinese mountains. I consider that *real off-roading*
... I don't have a problem with jeeps, just have a problem with the ignorant younths who think they're "experts" after driving a trail with a few rocks and puddles in the Gatineau "hills". I don't consider this *off-roading*.

And I know what you mean about the knowledgeable people here... More times than many, I end up giving these Jeep guys advice on their rides.
... It seems like us hot-rodders can apply their knowledge in more applications than just "cars that go fast"

I never went trail driving in the Gatineau area but I used to go white water rafting down the Rouge River near Ottawa in the spring ...

I think we should ge back on the subject of the thread.. 😳

Just dropped off the trans after work today.

Also decided to mess with the car a little bit. Got the solid motor mount in (just drivers side)

just finished spraying my valvecovers, just gotta wait for them to dry and i'll untape them tomorrow and possibly install them.
