How did the fluid look in the pan? Make sure you get your governor where you want it or invest in a good shifter for the TH350.

Fluid looked good but I have been adding some here and there. I do have a good three speed shifter for it. So I am covered there. ATF is having a shortage so I cannot afford to fool around or risk not getting any.

Advance Auto was pretty much out of it. They claimed that Castrol makes most of it, and they were shut down for a while. I scored two gallons at Pep Boyz. I also grabbed an edelbrock tv adapter for the tv cable and I hope it works. Also I have this chart from Jegs that says the torque convert should be ok with the rear gears, and the cam ( when I install it) *if

OK Everyone! the trans shift cable has been set commented and set to .840 like I read, the plunger goes in flush at WOT, the trans pan has been cleaned, new filter and new fluid. I did not see any leaks! tomorrow I will pull it out and clean the messy garage, and see how it moves. maybe a test rip if it looks like I can get one in but if not, Saturday we will see.

Yeah, my Eyes were huge and my smile was pretty wide! I actually ran a best of 9.11/14.39. And I lifted a little because my 12.00 opponent was way behind me. I only ran 1/8 today and ran a 9.08 This car is going to hit the 8’s before season end!
