what trans was in the car when you started the swap?

what you can do is buy a universal tv cable and install it you will also need the bolt that holds cable to the trans, and the bracket to hold the carb end of the carb,do you think that you can do this your self?

i'm pretty sure i can, i pit in the differential with my dad and it works and came out good...

is there any adjustments? i found all the parts except the bolt...where can i find this at?

you need a TV cable, a TV geometry corrector kit from Bowtie, if the engine isn't in the car--a 700r4/4l60e crossmember that'll work with the LS engine, LS series conversion motor mounts, proped headers .
what are you using for the ignition? since the LS doesn't use a distributor you need a wiring harness and ECU to drive it.
did you make sure that the speedometer gears in the trans match what's in the rearend?

it's in the link i posted before, part of TV 101 and the install procedures are on the left side. basically the carb's that weren't built to go with the TV system have a different geometry and the TV cable doesn't pull out correctly, causing shifting problems.

with the adjustable cable you need to make the housing attachment first, the cable has a compression type of fitting that you need to tighten but not to tight! when you put the cable in the trans you need to make sure the inner cable is connected, the cable has a hole in it that you slip over the link thats in the trans, make sure that the seal is in place, the bolt is a fine metric thread about 1 1/4 long i'am sorry i can't rember the size all ican tell you is that it takes a 10 mm wrench to install it. the cable comes with a lock that you need to set in your carb bracket, don't cut excess off until you are sure that your finished. the adjustment is not real hard to do. the thing you have to make certain is that the bracket will not move under full throttle and that the inner cable has no slack or keeping you from getting to full throttle if it's ok this is when you tighten the lock. am i making any sense to you?
