mentaly i did the whole process...thanks..i'ma try and if i cant do it for any reason ill take it to a pro... :shock: wish me luck..

oh can i get the cable at like auto zone? and if so what is the exact name i ask for?? people that work there are slower than me...honestly

it's called a universal tv cable i think you can get them from auto zone,there is still more to do to adjust the cable. what you have to do is unlock the cable at the carb bracket. some cables come with a horse shoe clip some come with a push button,push the cable all the way to the rear and lock it now push your gas pedal to the floor hard this puts you in the ball park go road test it if it shifts right your done .if not release the lock and push the cable to the rear one notch at a time and road test until it shifts right 😀 i took some pics of my set up if you need any help let me know by the way i'am seriously jealous of your ls motor 8) just kidding good luck!!!

but i have drove it and it has a stall and shift kit and when i mash the gas it shifts...

to test it i have to drive it and see how it up shifts or down shifts? and what am i exactly looking for?

do you have a cable installed? if not it's not shifting at the right shift points 1-2 should shift at 15mph at partial throttle 2-3 at 25-30 an 3-4 at 45-50 the tv cable is responsable for all the shifts and pressure's if it is shifting now it's because the governor is shifting it.if you don't hook a cable up your going to burn it up!!!!!transmissions are voodoo to must people!!! you have to know how something works to know how to fix it.the tv cable is causes the governor to have to over come the pressure the tv valve is making,does this make sense to you?

YEAH...the amount of pressure is forcing the trans to shift...

i orderd the bracket today, so i should be getting it tommorrow or the next day or the day after that...
