78-80 Monte Picture Thread

Hey Markcp that Monte you have is almost identical to the two 78's taht i used to have. I had one that was cherry like yours and one not so nice looking. I need to scan some of the pics that i had of my 78. I loved that car to death. It had the 231 V6 and i blew it up and then stuck in a nice mild 350 and 350 turbo and 3.42 gears and ran a respectable 9.03 in the eight with it. I had to get rid o it cause the rear frame was shot and couldn't get it fixed, my wife hated to see it go more than i did oddly enough.

My best friend had one that got me started on Monte Carlo's that looked just like the first one that you had even had the same Keystone Classics like you and same raked stance. His just wasn't a vinyl top though. Thanks for the trip you sent me down memeory lane. Can't wait to see the finished interior pics. 8)

ok where do i start.........................
i think this is my first 79 monte back in 95. we were in the process of doing the body and paint in a friends driveway. if you look behind it you can see my boys 78 landau. sorry for the pic quality i had to scan a polaroid

here it is after we painted. still tacky.

no you dont 😀 i haven't done sh*t to it for a while. i have been buying new parts but thats it. i will get motivated soon though.
