and I thought the AR torque thrust wheels I got for my GP were nice, you got some some gorgeous wheels and not nearly so common as the wheels I got. Really nice choice you made 🙂

Thanks a lot! The funny thing is they look just like Pontiac rallye II's but aren't marketed as such. I got them on sale for about $300 less than the version Year One sells.

Nice to see some forward progress! I'm in the same boat as you - lots of stuff going on lately occupying my time. My US Mags are still sitting in their boxes.

When this project began I had too much time and not enough money. Now it's the other way around and I travel a lot for work. I imagine my wheels will be in the boxes for awhile too. They were on sale so I used that as an excuse to buy them.

I've had my 6X-4 heads sitting in the garage for awhile and randomly decided to throw them on CL yesterday just to get them out of the way. I ended up selling them within hours! Looks like I'll be putting that towards the new aluminum heads. I still haven't decided on KRE's or Edelbrock d-ports.

Finally got around to putting my rear suspension together and setting the car on the frame. There's a few things I wanted to do before this point but I have to relocate the car and I had to get it capable of rolling ASAP. I'm going to do the brakes and finish the fuel lines when I get the car to my house. I hate to complain about free storage, but I just can't work on the car in the junk pit where it's been stored anymore.

It's no fun putting it back on the frame before you really wanted to just to move it but it does look great and probably gets you a little anxious to start driving it..... 🙂

Yeah it's definitely been a hurdle that's kept me from working on it. Putting it back on the frame renewed my motivation to move forward again and get it drivable by winter.

Motivation can be difficult sometimes with a project that`s been taking longer than expected. You just got to do a little at a time and keep moving forward. Hopefully your new location will make working on the car a little easier. Keep up the good work Steve

I made some more progress this weekend with the front suspension and brakes. I had to undo what I previously did since I switched to tubular upper a-arms, 1" taller lower ball joints, Bilstein sport shocks and Moog 5660 springs. I did all of the brakes on the cheap, nothing special. Rock Auto had a closeout sale on these vented rotors which were $13 a piece and Brembo pads for $16. Brakes are 2000 Blazer dual piston calipers, spindles and sealed bearings. It wasn't 100% completely finished in the pic (left the lower balljoint nut in the trunk of my car at work!) but you get the idea. I also bought another running 455
