I found them on CL from a corvette guy.. Early 70's rims-

I notched the frame while doing it so if I choose later, something bigger can go in- the 275's should've fit either way

Very beautiful 78. I had seen this build on FB and wondered what had happened to it. Cant wait to see some finished pics or maybe even some videos.

Welcome back, Geo.
The car looks awesome...nice work, man! It's amazing what you can get done when under the gun, time wise.
Thanks for sharing the pics. I like the one of the proud owner posing in front of his car up on the lift. 😀

Thanks guys- I'll have more pics next week as I pic up the car then.. We had a local guy hand paint the crossfire emblems on the fenders, did some custom lettering on the cowl sides- then re cleared everything.. Really looks cool... I'll also post pics of the trans and interior...

Hey guys- wanted to post this M23-z manual trans from Jody's Transmissions in Pa... This guy has a huge following and builds a bullet proof 4 speed.. I wanted to stay correct w the 4 vs 5 speed.. He does a lot of work in the chevelle community.. Spent a lot of time w me and the engine builder on the phone- check him out when you can
