Great car choice............was in Topeka for the Power Tour in 2008....we cruised in at Bobo's drive in had burgers, fries and pie.....my only regret was not making a pass down Heartland Park dragstrip when we was there.........

Bobo's is a landmark, not on the best side of town but definately amazing.

i'm sure you didn't miss much, Heartland Park isn't all its cracked up to be, i've lived with in 10mins of the place until i was 17 and only went once.. then again i'm not much of 1/4mi guy.

threw a rod coming home from work friday 😢 i knew the motor was smoking (not too bad) when i bought it, thought i could run it until oct when my 383 would be ready, but she didn't make it.

oh well, i'll be documenting the swap and what not. sad weekend overall.

she's coming back stronger than ever, as seen in the engine thread i've scooped a '509' 400sbc



started pulling the 305 out yesterday, the prognosis is a blown headgasket, so thats what left me stranded last fall..

no matter, she'll be ready to go in a week or two 😀
