You do know that the '76 is odd-fire, don't you? While the '79 is even-fire.

I think if I lived in your country I'd be an outlaw there would be a big old 455 or 430 in that car! But in your case why not make it a turbo V6? Slow bout the parts from guys here in the us if you can't get them were you are

Yah, the oddfire would run rougher. I know the distributor cap is different, not sure on the specifics. If you can find a Buick 4.1 V6, that would be a noticeable gain. They came factory with a Quadrajet. I would think the 3.2L heads would have smaller chambers, a good thing but not sure on the valve size.

I would find a 77 and later 3.8, even the camshafts are supposedly different or the 4.1 V6 I mentioned. The 4.1 V6 with one of the mild comp cams would be a big improvement.

The one part I know for sure is the degrees of separation in the firing order:

(1)-150*->(6)-90*->(5)-150*->(4)-90*->(3)-150*->(2)-90*->(1)

With even-fire they are all 120*.

The crankshafts too. Because it's a 90* V6, they had to figure out a "split crankpin" crankshaft for the even-fire version.

the 4.1 IIRC is just a 3.8 with the beefy bottom end of the turbo 3.8 and a bigger bore, but it was cast that way if I remember right, so you could still bore it .030 over.

If it where me I would not use the odd fire motor. Best bet would be to find a 4.1 aND if you can't get a even fire 3.8
put some goodys on it and all it done.
