Do NOT pop-rivet a full floor pan in place!
Doing it that way is asking for leaks and rattles, and could result in a catastrophic failure of the cars structural integrity in the event of a collision.
If you really can't find a welder, just cut the patch to size and glue it in place with panel-bonding adhesive.

I believe he was telling me to do that until I am able to get a welder.

Removed the chrome trim on the driver side this weekend and found some problems (getting ready to take to Gbodyparts). Also I had to put more tape on the whole to stop rain from getting in there, hope it will not cost me to much to fit.

Car and frame is at Gbody parts. They are going to replace the frame and paint the car. Also found that I got a frame that is not as good as I thought it is. My motor is at the machine shop where I just found that I have a cracked head 😢 Guess I will need to get that 350 a lot sooner, but no money for it now. I will be just getting another set of used heads for now. This is my first and last car that I will be restoring (ya right).

My 305 all cleaned up. Had a cracked head and had the crank bearings replaced. Also added a Comp 268 cam, new oil pump, new timing chain, and painted it. Looks good?

Thanks. I need to get a radiator too, but don't know what to get. I just seen a vacuum line diagram on here a few days ago, but don't remember for what car. You may do a search and find one.

Pictures of work being done at Gbodyparts. Glad I did not try to do the floor myself.
