79 elky ground straps

I have a ground strap that is attached to the cowl, about midpoint, that looks like it should attach to the engine. Anybody know where?

if you mean the strap on the firewall the other side is on the transmission bellhousing bolt

Mine is attached to the back of the drivers side cylinder head .

you right TC, it is on a bolt on the back of the head..... 😳

Thanks, I think I found where it should go. Was broken off so need to get new one.
