I started disassembling the 8.2 I'm installing in my GP and the carrier caps unlike a 7.5 don't have a tab on one side to indicate which way the cap is installed. The caps on the 8.2 have a corner cut out on each end and one cap was facing with the cut out out and the other facing in toward the carrier. I'm just wondering if any of you know if it matters which way the caps are installed. I did find a photo online showing the caps with the cut outs facing out and it looks like it's need for the contour of the pumpkin but they do fit with the square edge point on the outside.
