I may get a lawyer involved eventually if I have to. I have a signed agreement, but it wasn't notarized or witnessed unfortunately. Somehow I don't think it's enough to prove anything in court.

My faith in the courts to do anything right is pretty minimal. 😂

a signed agreement is good enough, it's a meeting of the minds. he would have to claim he signed it under duress to get the agreement nullified. He can't wait to get sued to make that claim and he has to have grounds to claim duress

Well that's good, I don't want to have to get a lawyer, but if I have to hopefully I can sue for fees as well.

He originally owed me 4k he gave me 400 a while back, I'm trying to have some sympathy because I know the coronavirus stuff is hurting business since he can only do take out and delivery. However on the other hand, we had a deal, and I did him a solid, I'm not charging him interest or anything, the bank wouldn't "have sympathy" and let him slide... And I'm just a guy, not a bank, I actually need my money back, I can't just write it off or collect insurance on it.
