Ah oh yes that. Okay, mine could be corroded or torn. I have no dash lights either so something is upProbably loose terminals in the back of the cluster. I have two gauges in my car that work, or are supposed to. And one of them is always a dash tap away from working correctly. The factory connection to the green ribbon in the dash is laughable.
It worked great in the 80’s, but Geesh, it sucks in todays standards.
Thanks a million
I've used them but was told not to. I was told the inline fused arrangement can get 'cooked' to the point it's able to pass current where a fusible link will fail completely. In my head I was not 100% convinced of that argument but I'm not an advanced electronics/wiring guy either so I felt better safe than sorry. I opted to put the fusible links in just to protect my investment.Instead of using a fusable link, could I use an inline 20 amp fuse instead and install closer to the alternator than installing fuseable link at the starter?View attachment 198118
Okay note taken, could I move that fuseable link further up towards the alternator?I've used them but was told not to.
